Terms of Service

By downloading or using Scizzr you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the app. These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

• You must be at least 18 years old to use Scizzr.
• Scizzr is a space for women and queer people. Creating an account implies you identify as part of this community or are here to connect with it in good faith.
• You must be legally permitted to use the app in your jurisdiction.

• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
• You must provide accurate information. Fake profiles are prohibited.
• One account per person. Creating multiple accounts to evade bans will result in permanent removal.

You agree not to:

• Harass, threaten, or harm other users.
• Post fake, misleading, or impersonating content.
• Share explicit, violent, or illegal content.
• Use the app to solicit money or engage in commercial activity without permission.
• Attempt to scrape, reverse-engineer, or exploit the app or its API.
• Discriminate against users based on race, gender, sexuality, religion, disability, or any other protected characteristic.

The Safe Meeting feature is designed to assist your safety but is not a guarantee of safety or emergency response. By using Safe Meeting:

• You consent to your GPS location being collected and shared with your designated contact during an active session.
• You confirm your emergency contact has agreed to receive safety alerts.
• You understand that network or device failures may interrupt the service.

In a genuine emergency, always contact emergency services (999 in the UK) directly. Scizzr is not a substitute for emergency services.

You own the content you post. By posting it, you grant Scizzr a non-exclusive licence to display it within the app to other users. We do not claim ownership of your content and will not sell it to third parties.

We may remove content that violates these terms without notice.

We may take action including warnings, temporary restrictions, or permanent bans for violations of these terms. You may appeal enforcement decisions via the in-app appeal feature.

• Premium subscriptions are billed via the App Store or Google Play or directly through Stripe.
• Refunds are subject to the refund policies of the respective platform.
• We reserve the right to change pricing with reasonable notice.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Scizzr is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app, including any failures of the Safe Meeting system.

We may update these terms. We will notify you of material changes via the app or email. Continued use constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
